Undelete Navigator: Detect & Recover Accidentally Deleted Files (windows)

Whenever you delete a file from your computer it is never 100% deleted but simply the space it occupied is freed for other files to take place. Until that freed space is overwritten by a new file you have the possibility to recover your accidentally deleted files and folders. So if you are looking for a way to recover your deleted files, check out Undelete Navigator. It is a free downloadable program for Windows that lets you detect, browse and recover deleted files.

It is simple to use with a user-friendly interface. Once you download and install it, you will be presented with all the logical volumes (C:/D:/E: etc) on your computer. Select a drive to view its file system (FAT 32, NTFS etc) and click “Scan” to scan the drive for deleted files. You can stop the scanning process at any moment by pressing the “Stop” button. Once the scanning is complete you can browse the detected files as you browse normal files in your Windows Explorer.

If you are looking for specific files or file types you can search for them from the interface. Once you have found files you want to recover select the files, click the “Undelete” button at the top, choose a folder where you want to restore these files and click “OK”.
